Jarmon School of Visual & Performing Arts

A sanctuary for creativity, innovation, & exploration.
Washington, DC and its surrounding areas (MD & VA) has been a platform for creative’s to express themselves though art, music, dance, and theater for decades, providing the world with some of the greats. Such as Duke Ellington, Dave Chapelle, Marvin Gaye, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Regina Bell, Chuck Brown, and Stacey Lattisaw just to name a few. It is our hope to continue to showcase all of the greatness that resides here in the nation's capital by opening a state of the art "Visual & Performing Arts School" right here in the city of Washington, DC.

Our mission is to create an environment where children can feel safe to take creative risk.

The Jarmon School of Visual & Performing Arts will be a sanctuary for our children to learn, grow, and to freely express themselves through the arts. It is our core belief that children that are allowed to think freely grow up to become creators and innovators. They expose their truth with every brush of the paint, every note that’s held, with every story that is brought to life through drama, and with every sound from an instrument. Children that are free to think, to create, become our healers and teachers. It is our mission to build a sanctuary that will expose the greatness that our students carry within them daily regardless of their social and financial background. We are passionate about creating a place that will build up the moral of our students at home, in school, as well in the community.

Right now this is still a dream, a desire, a wish, a hope, unless you help us to achieve our goal of raising $1,000,000.00 by March 21, 2020 to build a state of the art Visual & Performing Arts School in Washington DC.

We are changing lives one creative mind at time!
